Hey there, I’m Robbie Kerr.
I am a ceramic artist working in Glen Forrest, Western Australia
I have been working with ceramics over the past couple of years. Currently, I’m at a very exciting time of experimentation with many of the styles, techniques and approaches I am incorporating into my work, leading me to new and unique discoveries along the way.
Ceramics runs in the blood. I’ve always been lucky when it comes to my exposure to art. Having two parents who are professional ceramic potters and a Dad who was the head of Art growing up during school at Scotch College in Perth meant I have been exposed, somewhat forcefully to a wide range of artistic styles and influences.
I enjoy working in natural surroundings of the hills and Australian bush landscapes play key role in personal inspiration which has begun to emerge. Having a wheel and kiln at home in the hills definitely makes the process a lot easier.

It has been very exciting of late moving into next stages of the process and starting to showcase and sell my pieces at local market stalls and gallery events.
Recently, I have received a number of larger scale custom orders for local cafes and restaurants and am planning to further expand the business side of R.Kerramics moving forward in 2020.
